1. Safety and site conduct

The non-negotiable foundation, assessed before any practical work begins.

  • Incident reporting

2. Core technical practice

Supervised hands-on work on the equipment and tasks partner employers actually use.

  • Tool and equipment handling
  • Measurement and tolerance
  • Quality checks

3. Working to specification

Reading and following technical documentation without improvising around it.

  • Drawings and specifications
  • Work instructions
  • Recording completed work

4. Employability

The habits that decide whether a capable trainee is kept on.

  • Timekeeping and reliability
  • Supervisor communication
